Air Force

In the Armed Forces, each division has a unique job to complete in order to work as a team, and Infantry jobs are important when securing areas or patrolling the ground. Depending on which service branch you are interested in, there are either Infantry jobs or ones similar to them in particular, or divisions that are attached to Infantry to help get the job done.

During Air Force basic training, each soldier receives training in weapons handling and maintenance, as well as be issued an M-16. Even if the Air Force is not directly involved in a situation, each soldier in the United States military must be educated in marksmanship with weapons and other tactical maneuvers.

Throughout Basic Training, soldiers learn drills and teamwork to use in any situation. Learning the M-16 assembly is important for cleaning and re-assembly activities and other topics learned during training are:

• Law of Armed Conflict
• Code of Conduct
• Security
• Combat Arms training
• Nuclear, biological & chemical training

After training is complete, each solider moves on to particular jobs that they have received training for. Jobs that are important to have for Infantry troops would include, among others:

• Munitions
• Vehicles
• Aircraft
• Radio Systems
• Surveillance

No matter what job or career a soldier receives training in, knowing how to use a weapon and be a leader are important things to have in any situation no matter what division they are involved in. Each soldier must be able to carry out orders, and be prepared at all costs.
