Navy Seals

One of the elite groups in the military, the Navy SEALs are trained to go through many environments like:

• Jungle
• Arctic
• Woodlands
• Mountains
• Desert
• Urban

A Navy SEAL is able to go through each one of these environments with the training they receive, as well as with the use of special tactics and equipment. Navy SEALS are sent on missions that include:

• Special reconnaissance
• Unconventional warfare
• Direct Action operations
• Counter-Terrorism Operations

Not everyone can become a SEAL, since only the best are chosen. The SEAL program lasts longer than 12 months for training, as well as 18 additional months for pre-deployment training. Intensive specialized training pushes each person to his mental and physical limits, and only the ones who succeed become Navy SEALs.

BUDs training, or Basic Underwater Demolition training, is a 7 month process that uses physical tests that push each person to their limit. Basic Conditioning and Diving Phases are at the beginning of the program, and a 9 week program on Land Warfare is given as well. In this phase, SEAL recruits train in basic weapons, demolition and small-unit tactics. During the end of the phase, recruits learn land navigation, rappelling, military explosives and marksmanship.

A Navy SEAL is the most skilled maritime group in the world, and they also have some of the most technologically advanced equipment. No matter where their missions take them, whether it is land, air or sea they have the training and equipment to get the job done.
